Jehovah's Witnesses Come Knocking

Hey Everyone!
What a week?! Well it was going real good until Friday morning. Thursday we had a meeting at the mission home for the leaders in the mission. It went really well except for Elder Mapou. The assistants told him that he couldn't assist in the meeting because hes not a district or zone leader. Well he didn't care for that, and he started to get angry at the assistants... Well after we talked a little bit after he cooled down and everything went well. Well Friday morning comes around and he wont get out of bed. Well he finally does and he refuses to do the weekly planning with us... well after we explained we're not here to babysit him he started planning. You can tell he wasn't too happy the whole day, and it was around 8 pm were things started getting a little heated. He wanted to go out of the apartment after 8, well the rule is we go in at 8, lock the doors and do NOT leave for any reason. It doesn't matter if theres no food in the apartment and your hungry, start a fast. The ONLY reason to be out after 8 is if you're teaching, and even that you have to call the President to ask for permission. Well to make a long story short, he refused to do the planning session for Saturday with us, and went in the room to lay down. We cooked dinner, ate, then we went to bed. Friday, same thing...i had enough of it so i called President and he said how thankful he is for us and said the assistants will be there soon. Well they came picked him up sent him to the mission home, President had an interview with him and sent him home. Sister Bailey was telling us later that President told him that 'he had problems in Congo, now here. He put him with his zone leaders, and he had problems. If you couldn't get a long with Elder Legere and Elder Doue, you cant get a long with anyone in the mission.' It really is the best that he went home. I don't exactly know if he had a problem mentally (I'm being serious) or what not but his anger was just out of control. Elder Doue and I were the only ones that cooked, cleaned, planned, did anything...He'd just sleep, and if we asked for help, it was only problems...But i do feel a lot more free now! But after all that, I've been having one of the best weeks. Oh it was so funny! About 5 mins after the assistants came to pick him up, there was a knock at the door. I go to open it, and theres two men standing there in slacks and a briefcase. I asked them if i could help them, and the older man (around 50 years old) says 'yes, we wanted to invite you to a conference that will be held...The goal of the conference is to bring you closer to God'....It was Jehovah's Witness' hahaha well there was no way i was going to let this opportunity go. To make a long story short, they ran haha We shared Eph. 2:20 with them and asked if they 'were built on the foundation of apostles and prophets', he couldn't answer. We shared a few more scriptures and pretty much taught all of 'Christs earthly ministry' and explained the primitive church. Well the young man that was with the older started looking at him like what they're saying is true, so the older man just turned and ran off. It was pretty pathetic. And you'd be proud it wasn't even bible bashing, we just calmly explained that their church isn't true and they ran. Saturday we also almost got attacked by a crazy girl, but there were some people that stopped her. It was a special day. And Sunday was awesome! Elder Onlou (hes i think in the 3rd Quorum of the Seventy) came to assist in our sacrament. We know each other pretty well. He was the old Stake president of Abobo (Elder Doues home stake) and was the mission president before Ayekoue. And because he was the old mission pres. he knows that Cocody has its problems. But when he saw that we had 3 families there (over 20 people, not including young kids), he went with us to meet all of them and showed his gratitude that they were there. He is an awesome guy.
Well i love you all! I need to get going! I'm glad you re all doing well! I cant wait to see you all in about 5 months. Ill be praying for you!
